22nd August to 7th September 2009 Shop windows in Harleston are getting an artistic makeover in time for the last few days of summer, with the help of some local artists. For two weeks (22nd August to 7th September 2009) participating shops are joining together to host a unique art exhibition, one that's free and open all hours; it's Shop Art…
A multiple-choice quiz (available from the Harleston Gallery and the participating shops) will guide you on a walking tour of the art on show around town, and will test your powers of observation, or window shopping! – it's a fun, end of the summer hoildays activity for children and families. The most eagle-eyed window shopper will have the opportunity to win a gift voucher to spend in the Harleston Gallery.
